As the former head of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Jhajjhar, Haryana, India, Professor Rath has led initiatives aimed at improving cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Under his guidance, the NCI has emerged as a premier institution for cancer care, research, and education in the country. Professor Rath's work encompasses various aspects of oncology, including clinical practice, academic research, and advocacy. He has conducted extensive research on cancer epidemiology, risk factors, and treatment outcomes, contributing valuable insights to the scientific community.

Prof. Ajit K Saxena

Prof. Ajit K. Saxena has received his Ph.D. (Genetics) from Institute of Medical Sciences, B.H.U. in the year of 1989/90. After receiving his Ph.D. degree he joined NIH funded Indo - US project at AIIMS New Delhi where he identified the role of novel antigen IL6 as a signal traducing agent in human glioblastoma. He also worked in various renowned Institutions of India and abroad. Currently, he is working as a Professor of Clinical Genetics & Head in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine in AIIMS Patna. He has published more than 100 articles with high citations. Based on his research and fellowship training, he has received several awards and honours, such as Gold Medal Award, Confer ‘Vivek Ratan Award’ and Millennium Award from USA..

Prof. Ashok Sharma

Prof. Ashok Sharma received PhD in Cancer biology at Department of Biochemistry at All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, in 2009. In 2009, he joined the Vanderbilt Medical Center, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN USA as a postdoctoral fellow, and worked on tight junction proteins (claudins) and their role in regulation of cell migration and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). In 2012, he joined the group of Adam R Karpf at Eppely Institute, UNMC, as a senior postdoc and worked on Cancer-Testis/germline antigen POTE, Epigenetic mechanism of regulations and biomarkers. He is recipient of “DBT-Ramalingaswami fellowship” and “DST-Ramanujan fellowship” awards from Govt. of India.

Professor LEUNG Ping Chung, OBE, JP, Hon DSSc, DSC, MBBS, MS, FRACS, FRCS(Edin), FHKCOS, FHKAM(Orth); is Emeritus Professor, Faculty of Medicine; Director of Centre for Clinical Trials on Chinese Medicine, Institute of Chinese Medicine; Director, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Osteoporosis Care and Control, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Director, Partner State Key Laboratory of Phytochemistry and Plant Resources in West China (The Chinese University of Hong Kong). He is also the Past President of the International Research Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SIROT), 2009-2012. He is also the author of over 800 scientific manuscripts in journals and 27 books. Professor Leung has been appointed as editor of 11 International Journals since 1982.

Dr. K S Gopinath
Senior Surgical Oncologist & Director, HCG-Bangalore, India
Prof. K. S. Gopinath, MS, FAMS, FRCS (Edin) is a Surgical Oncologist, known for his pioneering work on oncological research. He is a recipient of many awards including Dr. B. C. Roy Award, considered to be the premier medical honour in the country. The President of India recognized his services to the field of oncology by awarding him the fourth highest civilian award, the Padma Shri, in 2010.
He is known to have done extensive research on oncology with special emphasis on the surgery of head and neck, comparative study of laparoscopic and conventional surgical methods, cancer of the rectum and the impact of yoga on cancer. He is also regarded as a specialist in the treatment of Breast Cancer.
